The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
